If you’ve been following me on Instagram or other social media, you’ll know that the last two years of my life had been taken over by a most singular goal: The WSET Diploma.
24 months, 20 countries, countless regions, an unholy quantity of grape varieties and, of course, the wines. Those beautiful, delicious wines.
All of culminated into a single six-hour examination.
12 wines, 5 questions. 6 hours.

Final cramming on the bus to the exam
To be perfectly honest, I can’t say that I’m supremely confident of passing yet. But perhaps I’m 65% confident I’ll pass.
But regardless, I’m free. So free. So much to do, and so little time.
And of course, being the ambitious idiot that I am, I immediately sign up for the next head-busting wine challenge: the CMS Advanced Certification.
But I’m up for it. I’m ready. Just give me a few days to celebrate and work through the subsequent hangovers. Then it’s back to work.
